Carol brings 25 years of experience supporting multinational business. Carol's background includes the establishment of both tax and treasury departments on a global basis, initiating internal controls, raising debt and equity capital, managing debt covenants, and helping companies expand into emerging markets. Most recently, Carol was Vice President of Global Tax at Comverse Technology, responsible global tax risk management, financial statement reporting and compliance. Prior to Comverse, she led both the tax and treasury functions at Nuance Communication and at Charles River Laboratories, and spent seven years at Ernst & Young LLP.
Kristin B. Jones Esq.Kristin has more than 20 years of domestic corporate tax experience and is affluent in all things related to IRC Codes 382, 383, 384. She is responsible for overseeing new tax technical product development initiatives and serving as a tax technical reviewer on special projects. Kristin founded Section382 Solutions LLC, developing an award-winning tax software product (Section 382 aNOLyzer™) that is in use by public accounting firms and corporate tax departments, Kristin advises companies and their Boards of Directors on NOL Rights Plans and tax attribute preservation strategies to help them quantify the risk of losing valuable tax assets as they raise capital. Kristin worked with Bloomberg Tax Technology to oversee a new lease accounting product (ASC 842 and IFRS 16). During her tenure, she served on the BNA Federal Credit Union Board of Directors (Credit Committee). Kristin previously served as tax counsel with Drinker Biddle LLP, where she advised clients on both the buy side/sell side of mergers and acquisitions on a wide variety of corporate tax matters. Prior to Drinker Biddle LLP, Kristin worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions Tax Group of the Washington National Tax Office of Ernst & Young LLP, where she focused on M&A tax structuring, Section 382 NOL Studies, Transaction Tax Analysis Studies, Earnings & Profits Studies, and Stock Basis Studies.
